Full job description

TutorBright is hiring an in-home Tutor-Mentor in Scarborough to support a student in the following areas:

  • Grade 11 - 12 Math

Our tutors do more than teach. They mentor students, helping them build confidence and succeed both academically and personally.

Hours and Commitment

  • Sessions typically scheduled on Monday to Friday from 2pm to 7pm
  • Sessions are usually 1 to 1.5 hours and occur on a consistent weekly schedule
  • In-home tutoring only

What We’re Looking For

  • Confident supporting High-School Math
  • Must be able to travel independently to student's location (M1N 2Y7)
  • Patient, supportive, and encouraging teaching style
  • Experience or comfort supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Currently enrolled in or graduated from college or university
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with the Ontario curriculum, as a teacher, tutor, or former student

Nice to Have (Optional)

  • Previous tutoring, coaching, or mentoring experience
  • Experience supporting students with learning differences
  • Enrollment in or completion of teacher’s college
