Student Support Worker jobs in London, ON

Kingsway Academy is looking for a responsible, caring person to support our international high school students. This paid role may suit a student, recent graduate, newcomer, parent, semi-retired professional or anyone seeking consistent part-time work.

Location: 370 Huron Street, London, Ontario

Hours: Approximately 15–25 hours per week

Start date: November 23, 2026

Responsibilities

· Provide day-to-day student support and follow-up, including communication in Vietnamese or Spanish when needed.

· Help students adjust to school and daily life in Canada.

· Help organize and participate in activities and outings.

· Assist the Student Services team with follow-up and routine administrative tasks.

· Pick up student meals at designated locations at lunchtime and/or in the late afternoon.

· Refer more complex concerns to the appropriate counsellor or supervisor.

Qualifications

· Fluent English plus Vietnamese or Spanish.

· Caring, patient and comfortable working with high school students; reliable, organized and able to follow up on tasks.

· Valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle required.

· Experience in education, counselling, youth work, customer service or community support is an asset, but not required.

· Familiarity with international students or newcomer communities is an asset.

Schedule

Work is primarily from late morning through the afternoon/early evening. Exact hours can be discussed based on your availability and the school’s needs. The role may grow as our international student population expands.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
