About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Student Counsellor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, student counselling, relationship building, and business development. You will be responsible for guiding prospective students throughout the admissions process, following up with leads, and developing both direct and indirect recruitment channels to drive student enrollments.

Responsibilities Duties:

  • Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, WhatsApp messages, website inquiries, and social media leads while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Counsel prospective students currently in Canada on available programs, admission requirements, tuition fees, career opportunities, and enrollment processes.
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations to identify student needs and recommend suitable educational programs.
  • Proactively follow up with prospective students through phone, email, SMS, and CRM to maximize enrollment conversions.
  • Meet individual and team enrollment and sales targets through effective lead management and relationship building.
  • Generate new student leads through outbound calls, referrals, networking, community outreach, webinars, education events, and promotional activities.
  • Convert qualified leads into enrollments while consistently achieving monthly sales and recruitment targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inquiries, student interactions, applications, and follow-up activities in the CRM system.
  • Guide applicants through the complete admissions process, including document collection, application completion, and enrollment.
  • Coordinate virtual information sessions, webinars, and promotional events to engage prospective students.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students from initial inquiry through registration.
  • Create engaging short-form videos, reels, and educational content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube to promote programs and educate prospective students.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute digital campaigns, promotional events, and student recruitment initiatives.
  • Assist with digital lead generation initiatives, including responding to online inquiries and supporting social media campaigns.
  • Prepare regular sales activity reports, pipeline updates, and enrollment forecasts for management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in admissions, international student recruitment or education counselling.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales or enrollment targets and manage lead follow-up.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in Hindi and Punjabi (speaking and listening) is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems is an asset.
  • Comfortable creating short-form social media content and appearing on camera for promotional videos.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Experience working with international students or within the Canadian education sector is considered an asset.

Compensation :

$18.75/ hour to $19.75/hour + Incentives
