We’re growing fast and looking for enthusiastic and reliable full-time Composite Technicians to join our dynamic manufacturing team!

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Operate the chopping gun with precision and care.
• Cut and kit glass fabrics to specifications.
• Blend resin with catalysts and additives for optimal performance.
• Perform manual fiberglass layup using brushes, rollers, squeegees, and other hand tools on mold surfaces, following engineering drawings.
• Apply exterior surface gelcoat manually for superior finishes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the general upkeep of the shop.

Advanced Responsibilities for those with aptitude:

• Secure fittings, nozzles, lugs, and sub-assemblies to primary structures with precision.
• Conduct visual defect and dimensional conformance inspections of finished products.
• Apply resin via spray gun for even and consistent coverage.
• Use the fiberglass chopping gun for FRP “chop” applications with expertise.

What You Need to Be Successful:

• Ability to follow direction and a drive to learn and grow.
• Strong work ethic with great attention to detail.
• Comfort with moderate manual labor.
• Ability to work well in teams and enjoy a collaborative environment.
• Commitment to performing duties in line with SCT Safety, Quality, and Manufacturing Procedures.
• Must be able to wear a respirator.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces (training provided).
• Must be able to work at heights (training provided).
• Ability to read blueprints would be an asset.
• Previous fiberglass manufacturing experience is an asset but not required.

Wage

Starting at $19+ per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (Day or Evening Shift)
