Strassburger Windows & Doors is seeking individuals to join our growing and dynamic production team in our Customs Department. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday, which includes benefits, and Employee Family Assistance Program and a Group RRSP program.

Key Responsibilities:

· Shaping raw material into custom windows

· Cutting and welding for straight sided shapes

· Heat material in oven for bending curved shapes

· Use precision cuts or bending tables to set forms and add accessories

· Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products

· Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently

Qualifications:

· Work experience in woodworking, carpentry and manufacturing

· Strong finish & fine carpentry skills (i.e., trim, one point, two-point welders, chop saw etc.)

· Attention to detail and able to read shop drawings/cut lists

· Team player focused answering to a team leader and plant manager

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Some heavy lifting required

· Ability to read a tape measure

· Ability to work out measurements and calculations

· Needs to be able to work quickly and accurately while having the ability to shift to other tasks as required

· Completion of secondary school preferred

· 2 years’ woodworking experience

Compensations:

· Competitive hourly wage based on experience
