Job Overview

Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and promptly. Responsibilities

  • Efficiently load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, or other warehouse equipment while adhering to safety protocols
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments by verifying quantities, inspecting packages, and recording transactions in AS400 or similar systems
  • Operate order pickers and other equipment to fulfill e-commerce orders quickly and accurately
  • Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring proper packaging standards for safe transportation
  • Conduct routine inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update stock levels within warehouse distribution systems
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment by following safety procedures and best practices

Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related fields with a focus on order fulfillment
  • Skilled in operating forklifts (including reach trucks) and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, MRP systems, and warehouse distribution processes
  • Strong understanding of order picking, packing techniques, load & unload procedures, and inventory control
  • Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
  • Experience with e-commerce fulfillment processes is highly desirable
  • Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
