Full job description

Dishwashing team at Claramount Club

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced dishwasher staff to join our team at Foundry and Delphine located inside the Claramount Club.

Foundry and Delphine are both new and exciting additons to the growing restaurant scene in Prince Edward County located in the core of downtown Picton.

As a kitchen and company we take a healthy work environment and working culture seriously, and because of that we also seek individuals to help be a part of that.

This role involves working efficiently, respectfully, and in an organized manner.

Full time and Part time positions are available.
We are also looking for prep cooks and dishwashers to join our team.

Duties

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or using commercial dishwashers.
  • Sort, stack, and store clean dishware in designated areas so kitchen staff can easily access them during peak hours.
  • Keep the dishwashing area and kitchen floors clean, dry, and free of clutter. Safely manage trash, compost, and recycling.
  • Help the culinary team with basic prep work, such as washing/chopping vegetables and stocking ingredients

Skills and Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift/move/put away heavy items (on average 50lb)
  • Handing of food safety regulations and proper chemical usage/dilution.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and handle high-pressure rushes.
  • Follow direction of kitchen management teams.
