Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our large rental portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation and completion of painting of residential units and the common areas of apartment-style buildings as assigned by the property management team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform interior and exterior painting for rental properties, ensuring high-quality finishes.
  • Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks as needed.
  • Select appropriate color schemes, paint types, and finishes based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with property management to schedule painting projects with minimal disruption to tenants.
  • Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify painting needs and recommend maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Handle repairs related to painting such as drywall repair and minor carpentry as needed.
  • Keep inventory of paint supplies and equipment, ensuring materials are ordered in a timely manner.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a painter, preferably with 3-5 years of experience in a residential / commercial or rental setting.
  • Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
