Full job description

We are a growing entertainment data and intelligence company looking for a strategic partnerships lead to help us build partnerships with industry organizations, associations, conferences, media companies, agencies, and complementary platforms.

This is not a basic outreach role. We are looking for someone who can help shape and execute a partnership strategy across entertainment, music, sports, PR, marketing, creator economy, talent buying, live events, and multicultural business communities.

The goal is to build partnerships that create credibility, distribution, member access, co-marketing opportunities, webinars, reports, sponsorship opportunities, and long-term industry relationships.

What You’ll Do

You will lead outreach and partnership development with organizations such as:

  • Music industry associations
  • Talent buyer, venue, promoter, and live event organizations
  • Sports business and sports marketing organizations
  • PR and communications industry groups
  • Advertising and marketing agency associations
  • Creator economy and influencer marketing communities
  • Multicultural entertainment and business organizations
  • Conferences, newsletters, media platforms, and industry networks
  • Complementary software/data companies that serve similar audiences but are not competitors

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and prioritizing a global partnership target list
  • Researching organizations, conferences, decision makers, sponsors, board members, and partnership opportunities
  • Creating customized partnership angles for different audience segments
  • Reaching out to partnership, sponsorship, executive, and membership contacts
  • Booking qualified partnership conversations
  • Developing partnership packages such as member benefits, webinars, co-branded reports, newsletter placements, sponsored resources, and “official partner” opportunities
  • Following up consistently and managing the partnership pipeline
  • Collecting sponsorship decks and evaluating whether paid opportunities are worthwhile
  • Helping position the company as an industry intelligence partner, not just another vendor
  • Tracking outreach, responses, objections, calls, deliverables, and results in a CRM or spreadsheet
  • Working directly with the founder on high-value relationships and strategic opportunities

*

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, sponsorships, partner marketing, media partnerships, association partnerships, or a similar role
  • Proven experience identifying, contacting, and developing relationships with organizations, associations, conferences, media companies, agencies, SaaS companies, or professional communities
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience creating outbound partnership campaigns, including target research, customized messaging, follow-up, and pipeline tracking
  • Ability to communicate with executives, founders, association leaders, sponsorship teams, and senior industry professionals
  • Strong judgment in evaluating which partnership opportunities are worth pursuing
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing consistently
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
