Lawn & Garden Enhancement Crew Member

Location: Toronto, ON – Near Yonge & Sheppard
Company: Foliage Outside Matters
Pay: CA$23–$29 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:50 AM start | Seasonal contract(now to Mid-December)

At Foliage Outside Matters, we specialize in high-end residential garden care and planting. Our mission is simple: help our clients feel truly at home in their outdoor spaces. We work on beautiful residential properties throughout Toronto, including neighborhoods like The Beaches, Rosedale, North York, and downtown.

We are looking for a motivated gardener or aspiring horticulturist who wants to build real skills and grow into an exceptional gardener.

This role is ideal for someone who loves plants and working outdoors, enjoys physical hands-on work, and takes pride in their work. It is especially suited for someone who wants to build a long-term career in horticulture or professional gardening.

We are especially interested in candidates who want to grow into professional gardeners, not just work aqseasonal landscaping job.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working with our experienced team, you will help maintain and enhance beautiful residential gardens.

Responsibilities include:

  • Garden and plant bed maintenance
  • Planting and soft-scaping projects
  • Seasonal planting oppurtunies for bulb planting
  • Seasonal Custom Container Platings
  • Turf care and lawn maintenance
  • Pruning and seasonal garden work
  • Operating professional landscaping equipment

Maintaining ahigh standard of detail on premium residential properties

Typical workdays can be up 10.5 hours during peak season.

Part time , set days with options for increased days as needs to be discussed

Qualifications

Required

  • 1+ year gardening, landscaping, or turf care experience
  • Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation to our shop near Yonge & Sheppard for a 6:50 AM start, oppurtunties exist to meet/ leave site

Assets

  • Knowledge of horticulture, turf and or garden/plant care
  • Experience with small residential landscaping equipment (mowers, blowers, trimmers)
  • Planting experience following professional landscape pace
  • G-class driver’s license with a clean abstract
