We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join an interdisciplinary, school-based team providing specialized communication-related services to First Nations schools across Manitoba. This role supports student participation and access to learning through assessment, programming, therapeutic intervention, and consultation within a three-tiered service delivery model.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Licensed or provisional member with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba (CASLPM)
  • Eligible for or holding Manitoba Education certification as a School Clinician in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license, and access to an insured vehicle
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, Inclusive Education practices and Manitoba curriculum frameworks
  • Strong intercultural communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Willingness to travel to rural and remote First Nations communities
  • Experience working in First Nations education settings and/or fluency in a First Nations language is an asset
