Nuclear Medicine Technologist – New Grads Welcome

$45–$50/hr + Signing Bonus + Tuition Reimbursement

Alberta Cardiology & Medical Consultants Inc. is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our growing outpatient cardiac diagnostic centre in Edmonton, Alberta.

Your Role

You will work in a specialized outpatient cardiac environment alongside Cardiologists, Internal Medicine Physicians and an experienced clinical team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (MPI)
  • Rest and stress imaging
  • Exercise and pharmacologic stress testing
  • Hot lab duties
  • Daily quality-control procedures
  • Radiation safety procedures
  • Patient preparation and monitoring
  • Maintaining patient safety and comfort
  • Accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaboration with physicians and clinic staff

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • CAMRT certified or eligible
  • ACMDTT registered or eligible for registration
  • Current or obtainable BLS certification
  • WHMIS and TDG certification
  • Strong patient-care and communication skills
  • Professional, dependable and motivated to learn

Previous Nuclear Medicine experience is an asset, but new graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
