Company Overview

CPHR Manitoba is the exclusive certifying body in Manitoba for the nationally recognized Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation – the leading standard for HR professionals in Canada. Our mission is to advance the HR profession, safeguard public interest, and enable strategic people leadership that drives workplace success.

We work to achieve that by engaging with members, HR professionals, students, business leaders, and the public to strengthen awareness and demand for the CPHR designation; supporting the growth of the HR profession through professional development and continuous learning opportunities; protecting the public by regulating HR professionals and enforcing standards under The Chartered Professionals in Human Resources Act; and advocating for the profession through public policy engagement, advocacy, and thought leadership on emerging trends and issues.

In June 2025, The Chartered Professionals in Human Resources Act was passed, self-regulating the Human Resources profession in Manitoba. This Act strengthens our ability to protect employers, employees and our economy.
