Optometric Assistant – Capital Vision Care in Southgate Mall

Join our locally owned eye‑care team! We’re hiring an Optometric Assistant who’s passionate about patient care, eye health, and working in a fast‑paced clinic environment. Experience in optical is an asset, but we provide full training. Occasional travel to other locations may be required.

What You’ll Do:

  • Greet patients and coordinate appointments
  • Perform preliminary and auxiliary testing
  • Support the optometrist with daily clinic tasks
  • Deliver excellent patient care and accurate charting

What You Bring:

  • Strong communication and a great bedside manner
  • Ability to adapt to different patient needs
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and team‑focused
  • Comfortable learning new technology (G Suite/MS Office)
  • Calm, approachable, and confident working closely with patients
