Our integrity, combined with diligence, passion and strong leadership allow us to create long term value down to the last detail. We strive to create spaces that reflect the way people want to live and work today, while evolving for tomorrow.
We offer a competitive salary, an extended health plan including medical, dental and vision. Our other benefits include a company RRSP program, an employee assistance program, educational assistance, professional development and internal growth opportunities. Due to growth, we are currently seeking a Site Supervisor to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to oversee residential construction and renovation projects within our portfolio. This role is ideal for a construction professional with extensive experience managing projects of varying size, scope, and complexity, including high-quality custom residential environments where craftsmanship, presentation, and execution standards are exceptionally important.
Reporting to senior leadership, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest standard of quality. The successful candidate will work closely with trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders while maintaining a strong on-site presence throughout all phases of construction.
This position requires a proactive and adaptable individual who is comfortable taking a hands-on approach when required, while still operating primarily in a supervisory and coordination capacity. Flexibility to support project needs during evenings and weekends is required from time to time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations for residential construction and renovation projects.
- Coordinate and supervise trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure work is completed according to scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure all finishes and construction details meet high standards of quality and presentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure projects are progressing efficiently and safely.
- Review project scopes, assist with estimating, and support the sourcing of materials, finishes, fixtures, and products.
- Provide recommendations and options for products and materials based on project requirements, quality standards, and budget considerations.
- Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders regarding timelines, site progress, deficiencies, and project updates.
- Identify and resolve site issues proactively while ensuring minimal disruption to project schedules.
- Support scheduling and coordination of inspections, deliveries, and trade sequencing.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including site reports, deficiencies, change requests, and progress tracking.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, building codes, and company expectations.
- Step in with a hands-on approach when required to support project completion and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Remain responsive and adaptable to evolving project needs, including occasional evening and weekend coordination.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- 7–10 years of experience supervising residential construction and renovation projects of varying size and complexity.
- Strong experience working within custom, high-end, or detail-focused residential construction environments.
- Excellent understanding of residential construction methods, materials, sequencing, and site coordination.
- Broad working knowledge of multiple trades including carpentry, finishing, drywall, painting, flooring, cabinetry, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Hands-on construction background with the ability to understand and assess work across all stages of a project.
- Strong eye for detail and commitment to delivering exceptional quality workmanship and finishes.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience sourcing construction materials, finishes, fixtures, and specialty products.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability and professionalism on-site.
- Reliable, hardworking, and responsive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between project sites as required.
- Flexibility to accommodate project demands outside of standard working hours when necessary.
