Full job description

Adecco is currently hiring a Bilingual Operational Support Specialist for a remote opportunity supporting complex customer inquiries requiring a high level of professionalism, empathy, and analytical thinking. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in the legal or medical field who are comfortable interpreting documentation, conducting research, and assisting customers with sensitive or complex situations.
In this position, you will serve as an escalation point for customer inquiries received through warm transfers from the call center team. You will provide personalized support, review medical and legal documentation, investigate cases using internal systems, and ensure all interactions are accurately documented.
  • Salary: $28.00/hour
  • Location: Remote
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Employment Type: Full-Time Temporary

Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound customer calls in a professional, courteous, and empathetic manner
  • Provide personalized guidance and support beyond standard call scripts
  • Review, interpret, and assess complex medical and legal documentation
  • Conduct research using internal systems to investigate and resolve customer inquiries
  • Manage sensitive and challenging conversations while maintaining professionalism
  • Document customer interactions accurately and thoroughly
  • Navigate multiple systems and databases simultaneously
  • Follow assigned schedules, procedures, and call-handling processes
  • Escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with internal teams when required
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all project requirements
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while exercising sound judgment and critical thinking
Qualifications
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) is required
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education is preferred
  • Must have access to your own device
  • Background in the legal or medical field is strongly preferred (e.g., law clerk, paralegal, nurse reviewer, legal assistant, healthcare administration)
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to interpret and understand complex documentation
  • Customer-focused mindset with sound professional judgment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Experience handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
