Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Sonographer to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Edmonton. This role is vital in supporting our diagnostic services and ensuring high-quality patient care aligned with our commitment to health excellence.
Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound examinations accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Document findings clearly and thoroughly.
  • Provide compassionate patient care and address patient concerns.
  • Assist in training or mentoring junior staff if applicable.
  • Stay updated on the latest ultrasound technology and techniques.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a sonographer or ultrasound technologist.
  • Certification from a recognized medical imaging board.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety standards related to ultrasound procedures.
  • Prior experience in outpatient or clinical settings is preferred.
