Position Summary

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will perform a broad range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations while providing exceptional patient care. Working closely with radiologists, referring physicians, and fellow healthcare professionals, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging that helps patients receive timely diagnoses and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Complete diagnostic ultrasound examinations including:
• Abdomen
• Pelvis
• Obstetrics
• Gynecology
• Small Parts
• Vascular
• Musculoskeletal (MSK)
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
• Ensure accurate documentation and image acquisition.
• Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all privacy regulations.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and clinic staff.
• Follow Wosler Diagnostics' quality assurance, patient safety, and infection prevention standards.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any technical concerns.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications Required

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Current registration (or eligible for registration) with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan (CMRIPS).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Preferred

• Experience performing a broad range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Previous experience working in a diagnostic imaging clinic is considered an asset.
