Senior Rebuild Technician / Journeyman Carpenter
Lead rebuild projects after disasters. Skilled tradesperson, site leader, and problem-solver bringing homes and businesses back to life.

When disaster strikes (burst pipes, fires, reno jobs gone wrong), you are the hero who brings homes and businesses back to life. We’re looking for a Senior Rebuild Technician / Journeyman Carpenter who’s equal parts skilled tradesperson, site leader, problem-solver, and all-around rebuild wizard.
What You’ll Do
Lead the Rebuild Work
- Frame, fix, and finish — if it’s carpentry, you’ve got it covered
- Complete structural repairs, install windows and doors, build cabinetry, and create quality finishes
- Read and interpret drawings
Own the Job Site
- Mentor junior techs, keep things moving, and ensure top-quality work
- Work closely with the Project Manager to plan materials, equipment, and timelines
- Communicate confidently with clients
Support the Restoration Side
- Help stabilize, demo, and transition sites to rebuild when emergencies hit
- Assist with moisture inspections, drying setups, and site prep
Safety First
- Maintain a safe and clean job site
- Complete documentation thoroughly
- Operate tools and equipment responsibly
What You Bring
- 3rd or 4th year Carpenter Apprentice OR Journeyman Carpenter (Red Seal preferred)
- 3+ years in carpentry or construction, ideally in rebuild/restoration
- Strong knowledge of codes, structural repair, and building best practices
- Leadership skills — you enjoy teaching and guiding others
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, in crawlspaces, and in all weather
- Clean driving record and valid licence
- IICRC certifications are a bonus
