Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Python Developer to join our innovative technology team in a hybrid role (3 days per week onsite in Downtown Toront) for a 6 months contract opportunity with potential for extension. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that drive our business forward using Python. Your expertise will help us build robust applications, integrate diverse systems, and optimize performance across various platforms. Duties

  • Develop and enhance applications and backend services using Python, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for building the applications
  • Write clean, efficient code with a focus on security, testing, and maintainability; perform unit testing and debugging as needed.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of codebase, system architecture, and deployment processes to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing.

Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python programming language with experience in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
  • Familiarity with application development best practices including SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and TDD (Test-Driven Development).

Pay: $25.00-$70.00 per hour
