Salesforce QA Analyst: Lead, Senior, Intermediate positions

Position Summary: As a Salesforce QA Analyst, you will assist in the creation, maintenance, and execution of test cases. In addition, you will be responsible for interacting with the Scrum team to identify test requirements, test strategy, and drive the acceptance of user stories. The chosen candidate must demonstrate high motivation to learn new software and take initiative based on past experiences in quality assurance.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with both QA and Scrum teams to satisfy testing requirements
  • Lead and Coordinate Testing Activities
  • Gather and review business and functional requirements
  • Perform root cause analysis
  • Creation of test cases from gathered requirements
  • Test execution, triage, and result reporting
  • Deliver testing solutions and drive the acceptance of user stories
  • Defect Management / Coordination
  • Identify and appropriately log defects

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Salesforce testing experience
  • Canadian Reliability Status security clearance
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and detail oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • Self-driven with strong initiative; able to execute effectively with minimal supervision
  • Experience testing Web & Mobile applications (iOS, Android) using Selenium and/or Appium
  • Experience in Functional and Regression Testing
  • Experience in working with Test Automation
  • Experience with API and SQL testing
  • Good understanding of SDLC and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative)
  • Ability to self-motivate and enthusiastic about new challenges

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce automation testing experience
  • Performance testing experience
  • Security testing experience

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: From $65.00 per hour
