We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-wide business systems, with a strong emphasis on Epicor ERP administration, customization, optimization, and support. Extensive hands-on experience with Epicor ERP is required, including administration, troubleshooting, business process analysis, system configuration, integrations, and custom development.
A critical component of this role will be the support, enhancement, and development of our Epicor Product Configurator environment. The successful candidate must possess strong programming skills and experience developing and maintaining custom Epicor solutions utilizing C#, SQL, .NET technologies, Epicor BPMs, BAQs, Dashboards, Kinetic customizations, and Product Configurator scripting. Experience designing and maintaining complex product configurators used to drive quoting, engineering, and manufacturing processes is considered essential.
Responsibilities include ERP administration and support, report and dashboard development, database management, troubleshooting and optimization of Epicor customizations, integration of third-party systems, support and development of product configurators, and the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications. Additional responsibilities include website and intranet development, documenting business requirements, user training, and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple departments to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and innovative technology solutions that support corporate objectives.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in Epicor ERP and custom software development with excellent business analysis and communication skills, enabling them to effectively support and enhance critical business systems across the organization.
This position is an on-site role at our world headquarters in Windsor, Ontario, working regular day-shift hours. Due to the nature of supporting critical business systems and manufacturing operations, occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required to perform system maintenance, implementations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and emergency support activities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand system requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Lead the completion of our product configurator within EPICOR ERP.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using EPICOR ERP, C# programming, and other relevant technologies.
- Customize and configure EPICOR ERP modules to meet business needs, including but not limited to financials, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer relationship management.
- Develop and maintain web applications, websites, and intranet portals using modern web development technologies.
- Conduct system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability, performance, and accuracy of the implemented solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical support to other areas of the business.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend improvements to enhance system functionality and performance.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions to business operations.
- Document system configurations, technical specifications, and user manuals for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Systems Analyst, with a focus on EPICOR ERP, C# programming, and web development.
- Strong proficiency in EPICOR ERP implementation and customization, including working with various modules and integrating them with external systems.
- Experience in developing web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Solid understanding of database design concepts and experience working with SQL databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
- Familiarity with web services (REST, SOAP) and API integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- EPICOR ERP certification and relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.
