Role Overview

As an Associate Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, customizing, and deploying functionality for client projects in the Health and Human Services domain using the Cúram™ by Merative COTS product. Your work will help agencies deliver better outcomes for vulnerable populations. This role emphasizes solution design, implementation and integration - ideal for candidates who enjoy working within established product ecosystems, optimising proven platforms to implement enterprise class software applications. You will work under the guidance of a Project Lead and eventually act as a technology expert for software implementation projects. Applicants will go through a two week training on the Cúram™ by Merative COTS product and will then be required to pass a certification exam.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the team on all aspects of front-end solution design and implementation utilizing the Cúram™ by Merative COTS product.
  • Apply problem-solving techniques and technical knowledge to deliver optimal results.
  • Prepare and deliver product capability and best-practice presentations.
  • Collaborate with team members, client representatives, and software vendors to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Cúram application and its configuration for client implementations.
  • Configure and customize the Cúram application to meet client requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to project technical standards.
  • Present a professional and knowledgeable image of Diona to customers.
  • Have a strong interest in continuous learning and development.
  • Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Mandatory Experience

  • 2+ years of experience working with Java, JEE, and associated technologies in post graduate, professional work environments.
  • Knowledge of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC).

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with government or public sector client engagements.
  • Experience with integration technologies such as SOAP and REST web services.
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, Angular, NodeJS).

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field from an accredited educational institution.

Location(s) – Toronto, Canada | Ottawa, Canada

This is a remote-first role with occasional travel for client workshops and/or project milestones.

Salary

  • Salary is commensurate with experience.

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
