Business Technology Advisor - KMOON Inc. | Calgary, Alberta

Full-Time | Permanent | In Person

Expected Annual Earnings: CA$60,000–CA$110,000+

Build a Career in Business Technology

KMOON Inc. is a Calgary-based business technology advisory company helping organizations select, implement, and manage the solutions they need to operate, communicate, protect their systems, and grow.

With more than 20 years of industry experience and relationships across 400+ leading technology and service providers, KMOON delivers practical solutions in:

  • Business Connectivity
  • Communications and Collaboration
  • Cloud Solutions
  • Cybersecurity
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Digital Growth
  • Payment Processing and Point-of-Sale Technology

We are expanding our advisory team and looking for confident, motivated, and results-driven professionals who enjoy connecting with business owners, identifying opportunities, and recommending solutions that deliver measurable business value.

This is more than a traditional sales position. It is an opportunity to build your own client portfolio, develop valuable technology and consulting expertise, grow your earning potential, and advance within a growing Canadian company.

What You Will Do

As a Business Technology Advisor, you will:

  • Prospect and connect with business owners and organizational decision-makers.
  • Conduct business-needs assessments to understand each client’s goals, challenges, operations, and technology requirements.
  • Recommend customized solutions across connectivity, communications, cloud, cybersecurity, AI, digital growth, payment processing, and related business services.
  • Present, negotiate, and close solutions including internet, voice, wireless, IoT, unified communications, data, cloud, security, and advanced business services.
  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Generate opportunities through field prospecting, outbound calling, networking, referrals, strategic partnerships, and community involvement.
  • Conduct professional in-person and virtual consultations and presentations.
  • Explain technical solutions, pricing, and business benefits clearly and confidently.
  • Prepare accurate proposals, applications, agreements, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, technology partners, and service providers throughout the sales and onboarding process.
  • Maintain regular communication with prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for additional support.
  • Consistently work toward daily, weekly, and monthly activity and revenue targets.
  • Participate in ongoing product, technology, sales, and professional-development training.
  • Represent KMOON and its technology partners with professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

This role is focused on consultative selling, quality relationships, and long-term client value, not one-time transactional sales.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

  • Confident and comfortable speaking with business owners, executives, and decision-makers.
  • Motivated by goals, professional growth, and performance-based earning opportunities.
  • Self-disciplined, organized, and able to manage multiple opportunities.
  • Comfortable with prospecting, cold calling, networking, and in-person business development.
  • Curious about business technology and able to explain complex solutions in simple language.
  • A strong listener who asks thoughtful questions before recommending a solution.
  • Professional in appearance, communication, and conduct.
  • Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Coachable and committed to continuous learning.
  • Reliable, accountable, and consistent in following up with clients.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an asset.

Experience and Qualifications

A minimum of five years of experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:

  • B2B sales and customer service
  • Business development
  • Telecommunications
  • Information technology
  • Cloud or cybersecurity solutions
  • Merchant services or payment processing
  • Software or digital services
  • Point-of-sale or retail technology
  • Account management or consulting
  • Project Management

Relevant experience is an asset, but it is not the only factor we consider. Comprehensive training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, professionalism, communication skills, and commitment to succeed.

A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are strongly preferred because this position includes in-person meetings with businesses throughout Calgary and the surrounding area.

What We Offer

  • Competitive performance-based compensation
  • Uncapped earning potential
  • Expected annual earnings of CA$60,000–CA$110,000+, based on experience and performance
  • Comprehensive product, technology, and consultative-sales training
  • Ongoing coaching and leadership support
  • Hands-on mentorship and professional development
  • Access to a growing portfolio of business technology solutions
  • Opportunities to work with established technology and service providers
  • A professional, energetic, and growth-focused work environment
  • Opportunities for advancement into senior advisory, account-management, and leadership roles
  • The opportunity to build and manage a valuable portfolio of business clients
  • The chance to help shape a growing Canadian business technology company
  • On-site parking

At KMOON, you will be supported like a professional, trusted like an advisor, and rewarded for the value you create.

Why KMOON?

We believe successful business technology begins with understanding the client not simply presenting a product.

Our advisors take the time to understand how a business operates, where it is experiencing challenges, and what it wants to accomplish. We then connect the client with practical solutions designed to improve communication, productivity, security, customer experience, and growth.

We are building a team of professionals who want more than a temporary sales position. If you are ambitious, enjoy working with people, and want to develop a long-term career in business technology and B2B advisory services, we would like to hear from you.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume along with a brief introduction explaining:

  • Why you are interested in joining KMOON;
