Job Overview
We're looking for an experienced Senior SEO & AEO Growth Specialist to own and execute Click Maint's organic growth strategy. This is a hands-on role for someone who can improve rankings for highly competitive commercial keywords, increase qualified organic traffic, and generate more inbound leads. You'll work across technical SEO, on-page optimization, AI search / answer engine optimization (AEO), analytics, HubSpot CMS, and website conversion optimization to drive measurable business results.
This is not an entry-level SEO position, a content writing role, or an agency account management role. We are looking for someone with a proven track record who can hit the ground running, work confidently inside HubSpot CMS and HubSpot Marketing Hub, and make a measurable impact within the first 60 days.
You'll have direct ownership of one of our most important growth channels and will be measured on business outcomes, not vanity metrics. Success means better rankings for high-intent commercial keywords, more qualified organic traffic to priority pages, and more inbound demo requests and sales opportunities.
About Click Maint
We a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We provide easy-to-use maintenance management software for organizations that need a simpler way to manage work orders, preventive maintenance, assets, requests, inventory, and maintenance operations.
Since going to market in 2024, Click Maint has brought on more than 500 new logos, with approximately 65% of customers in the United States and 35% in Canada. Lead generation is driven primarily through outbound sales, inbound partner / pay-per-lead channels, and organic search.
We are currently creating approximately 100 new sales opportunities per month, supported by a sales organization of 3 Account Executives and 3 Sales Development Representatives. As we continue to grow, organic search is a major opportunity for increasing qualified inbound lead volume and improving customer acquisition efficiency.
Some of our customers include: Art Gallery of Ontario, Prestage Farms, Lush, Sunrise Soya Foods, Frog's Leap Winery
Responsibilities
- Own and execute Click Maint's SEO and AEO strategy across technical SEO, on-page SEO, content optimization, internal linking, schema, analytics, and conversion-focused website improvements.
- Improve rankings for competitive commercial keywords such as CMMS software, best CMMS software, facility management software, preventive maintenance software, maintenance management software, and related high-intent terms.
- Optimize existing commercial pages, comparison pages, industry pages, feature pages, blog posts, and landing pages for better rankings, stronger click-through rates, and higher demo-request conversion.
- Work directly in HubSpot CMS to update page titles, meta descriptions, H1s/H2s, internal links, page copy, modules, images, CTAs, schema, redirects, and other on-page elements.
- Use HubSpot Marketing Hub to understand lead sources, form conversions, campaign performance, landing page performance, and organic lead attribution.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and resolve issues related to crawlability, indexing, site structure, Core Web Vitals, page speed, duplicate content, redirects, broken links, canonicals, structured data, and internal linking.
- Analyze Google Search Console, GA4, HubSpot, SEMrush, and Google Tag Manager data to identify ranking, traffic, and conversion opportunities.
- Monitor AI search and answer engine visibility, including how Click Maint appears in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other emerging search experiences.
- Partner with internal and external content resources to improve existing content and guide new content only where it supports commercial keyword growth and lead generation.
- Analyze competitors and SERPs to understand what is ranking, why it is ranking, and what Click Maint needs to do to win visibility.
- Support smaller Google Ads campaigns when needed, including basic campaign setup, keyword management, tracking, and performance review. Paid search is not the main focus, but competency is required.
- Build clear reporting that connects SEO work to rankings, priority page traffic, organic conversions, qualified leads, opportunities, and pipeline impact.
- Stay current on Google algorithm updates, AI-driven search changes, technical SEO best practices, and B2B SaaS growth trends.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a strong preference for B2B SaaS experience.
- Proven success improving rankings for competitive commercial keywords in national or international markets, not only local bricks and mortar SEO.
- Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot CMS. You must be comfortable making SEO updates directly inside HubSpot from day one.
- Strong working knowledge of HubSpot Marketing Hub, including forms, landing pages, campaigns, traffic analytics, lead attribution, and conversion reporting.
- Ability to make on-page SEO updates directly in HubSpot without relying heavily on developers.
- Strong technical SEO knowledge, including crawlability, indexing, site architecture, redirects, canonicals, structured data, page speed, internal linking, and Core Web Vitals.
- Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, metadata optimization, SERP analysis, content refreshes, and conversion-focused page optimization.
- Experience using Google Search Console, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs.
- Working knowledge of Google Ads and ability to manage smaller campaigns when required.
- Experience analyzing SEO performance beyond traffic, including organic demo requests, qualified leads, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue contribution.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, product, content, and development teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize high-impact work, and move quickly in a startup environment.
- Comfortable being measured on organic traffic growth, keyword ranking gains, and organic lead generation.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience in B2B SaaS marketing.
- Experience competing in software categories with high-cost commercial keywords.
- Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge.
- Experience with conversion rate optimization for demo request pages or lead generation websites.
- Experience with AI search / AEO strategy, including structured answers, entity optimization, schema, and AI search visibility tracking.
Tech Stack
- HubSpot CMS
- HubSpot Marketing Hub
- SEMrush
- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics 4
- Google Tag Manager
- Google Ads
- Salesforce
- Storylane
What Success Looks Like in the First 60 Days
- Significant headway on on-page SEO improvements across priority commercial pages.
- Material increase in organic traffic to key website pages.
- Material gains in rankings for high-intent commercial keywords.
- Uptick in qualified organic lead generation and demo requests.
- Clear reporting showing what was changed, what improved, what did not move yet, and what needs to happen next.
- A prioritized SEO roadmap based on impact, effort, and expected contribution to qualified organic lead generation.
- Confident day-one execution inside HubSpot CMS and HubSpot Marketing Hub.
Who Will Succeed in This Role
- You have personally grown organic traffic and leads for a B2B company.
- You are comfortable competing for difficult commercial keywords.
- You understand that traffic only matters if it converts into qualified leads and pipeline.
- You can work directly in HubSpot CMS and do not need a developer for every on-page change.
- You move quickly, but still make decisions based on data.
- You keep up with Google algorithm changes and AI-powered search trends.
- You prefer owning outcomes rather than only completing assigned tasks.
Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

- Paid time off
- Profit sharing
- Work from home
