About the Role
We are seeking experienced MAS 9 Developers to support a major enterprise modernization initiative involving the migration from IBM Maximo 7.6 to IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) within a regulated nuclear energy environment.
In this role, you will contribute to the continuous delivery of platform enhancements, integrations, and modernization initiatives throughout the migration program and beyond. You will collaborate with architects, functional teams, and DevOps engineers to design and implement scalable solutions within the MAS ecosystem.
This is an opportunity to join a growing delivery team supporting a long-term enterprise asset management transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure applications within IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9)
- Support migration activities from Maximo 7.6 to MAS
- Build and maintain customizations, automation scripts, and workflows
- Develop integrations using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), REST APIs, and middleware
- Collaborate with architects and functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-based deployment processes
- Assist with data migration, environment setup, and system configuration
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and deployment
- Contribute to the continuous delivery of platform enhancements and improvements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with IBM Maximo (7.6 or later)
- Hands-on experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8 or MAS 9)
- Strong experience with:
- Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)
- Automation scripting (Jython or Java)
- REST APIs and enterprise integrations
- SQL and relational databases (DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server)
- Experience working within Agile or iterative delivery environments
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working within regulated and security-sensitive environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Maximo 7.6 to MAS migration programs
- Knowledge of OpenShift or containerized platform deployments
- Experience supporting utilities, energy, nuclear, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with MAS modules including:
- MAS Manage
- MAS Monitor
- MAS Health
- MAS Predict
- Experience with DevOps tools including Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Existing security clearance considered an asset
Eligibility and Security (Mandatory)
- Must be eligible to obtain nuclear facility security clearance
- Clearance processing typically takes approximately 3–5 months
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain site-access clearance prior to project deployment

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Software Development, or a related field preferred.
