Job Summary

Join our dedicated team as an Environmental Service Worker, also known as a Housekeeper, where you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Your energetic approach to cleaning and custodial tasks will ensure that all areas are hygienic, organized, and inviting for staff, visitors, and residents alike. This position includes working 30-40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, hallways, and administrative spaces using proper cleaning techniques and supplies
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected according to established protocols to prevent the spread of germs and maintain health standards
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and other necessary materials to ensure continuous availability
• Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe working environment
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisory staff for immediate resolution
• Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and supply usage for accountability and quality assurance
• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures at all times to uphold hygiene standards

Experience

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred, especially in commercial or healthcare settings
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, including the use of disinfectants and sanitizers
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and mops effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness in every task performed
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled shifts

Pay: $15.55-$15.60 per hour
