Progress Place is a recovery centre which supports people living with mental illness. Our innovative approach to psychosocial rehabilitation is progressive and world-renowned.

We believe recovery from mental illness is possible when people belong to a community that offers them flexible support and meaningful opportunities for their development.

CLUBHOUSE MENTAL HEALTH WORKER

This is an opportunity for a creative, dynamic, energetic, and engaging individual who desires a unique stimulating work environment. We are looking for a flexible person who is open to experiencing new challenges on a daily basis. A person who is committed to helping adults living with mental illness live and work in a community with dignity and mutual respect.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Engage clubhouse members in the operation of the clubhouse program.

· Encourage and support members to develop to their fullest potential.

· Support members in the prevocational, employment, education, housing and social components of the clubhouse program.

· Work as part of a team

· Provide case management

QUALIFICATIONS:

· A university degree or college certificate in a related field

· Flexible and good at multi-tasking

· Enthusiastic and energetic

· One-year experience in Human Services, and a minimum of six months working with people living with mental illness.
