POSITION SUMMARY

The Anishinaabe Aadiziwin Counsellor provides culturally grounded counselling and student support services rooted in Anishinaabe worldviews and teachings. This position supports the holistic well-being of students mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual through counselling, ceremony, collaboration, curriculum development, and policy development. The role centers Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing and supports culturally safe educational environments. Clinical social work practice within this role is delivered in a manner that honours Anishinaabe knowledge systems, relational accountability, and holistic wellness.
