About TechWyse

TechWyse is a Toronto-based, full-service digital marketing agency committed to delivering measurable results for our clients. As the digital landscape evolves, we evolve with it and we're building a content team that reflects where the industry is heading, not where it's been.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Digital Content Manager to lead our content function. This is a strategic leadership role for a professional who combines deep content expertise with a genuine command of AI-powered workflows and agentic tools.

You will own content strategy and execution across our client portfolio, lead an internal team and network of freelance writers, and be responsible for building the AI-driven systems that will define how our content operation scales.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver content strategies for clients spanning web copy, blog content, email campaigns, press releases, landing pages, and digital marketing collateral
  • Lead and develop our internal local and remote content team; directly manage a distributed network of freelance writers
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve AI-powered content workflows and agentic systems to increase team capacity and output quality
  • Own all content marketing calendars and ensure timely, consistent delivery aligned with client goals
  • Collaborate with SEO, Paid Media, and Outreach teams to build integrated strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions
  • Manage and evolve TechWyse's own brand content across web, email, webinars, and industry outreach
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on content in client calls, new business pitches, and pre-sales discussions
  • Maintain performance trackers and report on content effectiveness across accounts
  • Own process improvement and efficiency improvement initiatives for the content department

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a content management or content leadership role, preferably within a digital marketing agency
  • Demonstrated experience with agentic AI tools and AI-driven content workflows (e.g. n8n, Make, custom GPT pipelines, or equivalent platforms)
  • Strong AI prompting proficiency and a clear understanding of how to deploy AI effectively within a content production environment
  • Proven people management skills, including experience leading remote and freelance teams
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and content quality standards
  • Solid working knowledge of on-page SEO principles and how content supports broader organic strategy
  • Familiarity with project management and content scheduling tools (e.g. Hootsuite or similar)

What We Offer

  • Comprehensive benefits including dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Paid time off and tuition reimbursement
  • A collaborative agency culture with genuine opportunities for career development
  • The resources and leadership support to build something meaningful

TechWyse is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.

Pay: CA$60,000.00-CA$80,000.00 per year

Job description:

Social Media & Brand Manager

Reporting to the Director, Operations and Delivery (with a dotted line reporting to the Organic Performance Manager), the Social Media Manager is responsible for creating, managing, and executing social media campaigns on social platforms for our clients as well as our own brand.

The right candidate will also be instrumental in ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction by delivering excellent social media-based solutions while ensuring Ïdeliverables are within scope, budget, and timelines.

ÏWe are looking for a highly personable, upbeat communicator who is confident in client meetings and can maintain strong client relationships while juggling a high-volume portfolio (currently up to 39 active accounts). You should be equally comfortable with communication, strategy, and execution — especially when it comes to taking over ongoing client work and continuing it seamlessly. You’ll be expected to lead meetings, manage expectations, and keep all campaigns on track across a variety of industries and client types.

Strong creative and writing skills are essential. You must be proficient in Canva and Photoshop, with the ability to create polished, on-brand visuals. Solid writing ability is also required — from sharp social captions to clear client communication.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own core responsibilities in the department, such as social media strategy development, execution, and delivery for all the agency’s clients as well as the agency’s brand.
  • Own the Reputation Management and Review Solicitation processes that fall within the scope of the social media department.
  • Lead client meetings and manage their expectations in the process of delivering social media solutions.
  • Be hands-on with developing social media calendars, creatives, and content — including reviewing, revising, and continuing work already in progress.
  • Deliver strong design assets with a solid eye for branding, alignment with existing grids, and creative consistency. Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
  • Manage and execute Influencer Marketing campaigns.
  • Support sales and account management by recommending ideal social media solutions to relevant prospects and clients.
  • Conduct and lead client-side photo/video shoots as needed to grow their social media presence.
  • Monitor and report social media performance metrics as needed, with the ability to identify trends and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Build, manage, and improve standard operating procedure documents within the department.
  • Suggest process improvements as and where needed to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Be a thought leader for the department and embrace AI and emerging technologies to keep up with the latest trends and best practices within the social media domain.

NEED TO HAVE SKILLS

  • Minimum 3+ years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to take direction, and work in a highly collaborative environment involving local and international workforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage over 25 small and medium social media clients (with an expected load of up to 39).
  • Proven client-facing skills — you should be personable, articulate, and capable of independently managing meetings, relationships, and ongoing communication.
  • Strong copywriting ability and creative ideation — both independently and with the help of AI tools and LLMs such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.
  • Strong visual skills with demonstrated experience in Canva or equivalent tools; Photoshop/Illustrator experience is a strong asset.
  • Solid understanding of branding, visual storytelling, and social media creative alignment.
  • Experience using social media production and management tools such as HeyOrca (preferred), GatherUp, HootSuite, Canva, etc.
  • Proficient with video content creation and editing skills relevant to social media.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary remote teams to execute on social media campaigns.
  • Experience using work/project management tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook/Meta, Twitter/X, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.), their impact on different client profiles, and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Relevant certifications/accreditations within Social Media, such as Hubspot’s Social Media Marketing Course or the Social Media Marketing Professional Certificate by Meta, OR the willingness to get appropriately certified.
  • Proficient with the latest social media tools and technologies, including a strong understanding of how to leverage AI tools and LLMs for social media planning, writing, and execution.
