Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in a busy food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and food industry experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations to provide an outstanding dining experience.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency
  • Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
  • Lead team meetings, facilitate communication between front-of-house and kitchen staff
  • Assist with interviewing and onboarding new team members
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
