Full job description

Insulation Technician (0-20 hours per week) - CASUAL/PART TIME

PART TIME - M-F with Occasional weekends during peak season

THIS IS ONLY PART TIME, ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE A SHIFT WORK JOB, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU WANT MORE THEN CASUAL/PART TIME

When we get busy we need some extra help so we are seeking a person that can work on their days off during the week, we will train the right person.

Expert Insulation Contracting is a well established, full-service Insulation Contractor serving the Edmonton area for over 20 years. We maintain a reputation for 5-star installation and service. We are currently seeking a PART TIME ONLY Insulator/labourer.

This role requires excellent customer interfacing skills along with a no-nonsense approach to getting the job done. Customer satisfaction is key to our success and growth.
Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Primary duties will include blown insulation in residential settings. Occasional removal of insulation, both batt and blown as needed. Batt and poly insulating is minimal but experience in this area is an asset
  • Loading material, carefully prepping job site, accurately following work orders and documenting completion of work
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Working at heights and small spaces as needed
  • Keeping work truck and shop neatly organized and clean
  • Accurately tracking inventory and ordering supplies

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude is a must, ability to problem solve, and works well in a team environment
  • 1 year experience in blown in insulation is preferred
  • Clean Class 5 Driver's License - DRIVER LICENSE IS MANDATORY
  • Experience driving a 1-ton cargo truck as well as occasionally pulling a trailer
