Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

At North Western Property Maintenance, we're growing and looking for someone handy, reliable, and ready to roll up their sleeves to help our teams perform better every day.

About the Role:
We are hiring a Handyman / Shop Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying organized, and finding creative ways to improve the flow and function of our shop operations. If you like being the “go-to” person who fixes, builds, or figures things out—this job is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare outgoing shipments: organize, pack, and load orders.
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Drive company trucks (F-350) to transport equipment and materials.
  • Complete small repair and improvement projects around the shop.
  • Keep tools, inventory, and workspaces organized and functional.
  • Perform basic maintenance (bonus if you can handle small engines!).
  • Support the team with general handyman tasks and site preparation.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license & personal vehicle.
  • Comfortable driving an F-350 truck.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Handy with tools and comfortable taking initiative.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator.
  • Small engine experience (asset, not required).
