NOW HIRING: Union Concrete Formsetters – Residential, Commercial & Bridge Work
London, ON & Surrounding Areas

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $39–$45/hour + Union Benefits & Pension
Schedule: 44+ hours/week | Day shift | Monday–Friday with occasional weekends

We are seeking experienced Concrete Formsetters to join our team on residential, commercial, and bridge construction projects throughout London and surrounding areas. This is a union position offering competitive wages, benefits, and long-term career stability.

Ideal candidates will have experience in concrete forming, concrete finishing, and a variety of construction environments. This position requires individuals who take pride in quality workmanship. A strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, install, and dismantle various types of concrete formwork systems and components
  • Perform concrete forming activities for residential, commercial, and bridge construction projects
  • Assist with concrete pours, concrete finishing, and stripping of formwork
  • Work closely with construction crews, project managers, and other trades to meet project timelines
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality control, and site safety
  • Work safely in a variety of construction environments, including confined spaces and at heights when required
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and industry standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Concrete Formsetter required
  • Experience with various formwork systems, concrete forming, concrete finishing, and stripping of formwork.
  • Valid G driver’s licence required
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
  • Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs., working at heights, and working outdoors in varying conditions
