Job Title: Mobile Shrink Wrap & Detail Technician

Location: Penticton & South Okanagan, BC (Candidate must reside in the Penticton area)

Job Type: Seasonal Part-Time to Full-Time (Mid-September start)

Compensation: $20.00/hour during training | $25.00/hour post-training | Growth opportunities up to $30.00/hour

About the Role

Based out of Kelowna, our company is a premier provider of mobile marine asset protection and shrink-wrapping services across the Okanagan. We are expanding our team and seeking a motivated, independent Shrink Wrap & Detail Technician based locally in Penticton to service our growing clientele in the South Okanagan.

This position kicks off in mid-September. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing a company vehicle on-site and accessing a dedicated local storage facility for materials.

While this role begins as a seasonal position with variable hours, during our peak autumn season, you can anticipate full-time hours (weather dependent). We aim for a consistent, fixed weekly schedule with room for mutual flexibility. For the right candidate, this is an excellent opportunity to grow within the company, with potential for return-work in the spring and future years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, wrap, and heat-shrink a variety of high-value assets (boats, marine equipment, industrial machinery, etc.) to ensure complete protection against winter elements.
  • Safely operate and maintain company equipment, including specialized heat tools.
  • Manage local inventory at our Penticton storage unit.
  • Drive and maintain the assigned company service vehicle professionally and safely.
  • (Optional Asset) Provide mobile detailing services to assets prior to or independently of wrapping, depending on client needs and your skillset.

What We Are Looking For

  • No experience required: We provide comprehensive training. What matters most is a strong work ethic, a motivation to learn, and a positive attitude.
  • Location: You must live in the Penticton area to effectively service the South Okanagan.
  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit, strong, and completely comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and around large marine or industrial structures.
  • Licensing: A valid, clean driver’s license is mandatory
  • Flexibility: Ability to travel for training/support during the early weeks of the role, and flexibility around weather-dependent scheduling.

What We Offer

  • Competitive starting wage of $20.00/hr during training, rising to $25.00/hr, with a clear path to $30.00/hr based on performance and growth.
  • All required tools.
  • Company vehicle + gas assigned on-site for service routes.
  • Independence and autonomy managing your local territory.
  • Long-term return opportunities for the spring season.

To Apply

If you are dependable, physically active, and want to learn a specialized trade with an industry leader, we want to hear from you. Please submit your resume along with a brief note explaining why you are the right fit for this role.
