Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the HR department's daily operations and ensuring effective management of human resources functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of payroll processing, along with HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Running bi-weekly payroll cycles using Avanti ensuring timely processing of payroll information.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding for new hires.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Support change management efforts by facilitating communication between management and employees during transitions.
  • Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality, providing guidance as needed.
  • Management of employee benefits program
  • Participate in project management activities related to HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in payroll processing or administrative roles within an HR department.
  • Experience with Avanti payroll system an asset
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis to support HR decision-making processes.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
