**Looking to fill role immediately**

The Burke Group is looking for an energetic, reliable person for our sign assembly area. For this position, Sign Maker / Assembler, we are seeking applicants both with and without experience as we can provide on the job training for the role if required. Most importantly, we're looking for a reliable individual with an eye for detail who enjoys working with their hands.

Job responsibilities will include:

  • Assemble pieces of signs together with tapes and adhesives
  • Clean, organize, and package completed projects for shipping
  • Assemble signage with fasteners
  • Assist with painting edges
  • Paint prep
  • welding
  • cutting

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and enthusiasm
  • Capable of working under tight deadlines
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs for brief periods
  • Able to work in a fast paced team-oriented environment
  • Experience in any other facets of the sign industry an asset
  • Previous experience applying vinyl graphics or laminating graphics an asset
  • Willingness to work overtime and potential split shift work as required
