Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise framing and drywall installation.
- Construct metal frameworks for walls, ceilings, and partitions using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed.
- Install drywall panels efficiently, ensuring proper alignment, fastening, and finishing for a smooth surface.
- Perform concrete forming tasks related to framing structures and support systems.
- Apply siding materials and assist with restoration projects to repair or upgrade existing structures.
- Operate heavy machinery safely for lifting, positioning steel or framing components, and concrete finishing tasks.
- Use welding techniques when necessary to secure metal components and ensure structural integrity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or related trades with a focus on framing or drywall installation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, woodworking equipment, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and siding installation is highly desirable.
- Capable of operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently on job sites.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship.
