Job Summary
We are seeking a positive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn full-time cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with a genuine passion for customer service and creating an enjoyable shopping environment.

Responsibilities

  • Clearly communicate to every customer what sets our store apart-- brand name shoes at unbeatable low prices—priced to be lower than anyones sale.
  • Accurately handle cash transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
  • Engage in up-selling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Maintain organized merchandise displays to attract customers.
  • Provide warm, friendly, and attentive customer service that reflects our family-owned values.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area.
  • Become knowledgeable about product details to confidently explain them to customers.
  • Support the sales floor during busy times and contribute to overall store operations.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy work environment.
