Full job description

Big Bear Trading Co. is looking for an eager, dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Dead Man’s Flats warehouse this summer! Our Warehouse Associate will work with a small team to process deliveries and keep the warehouse organized, while fostering our core values of Passion, Teamwork, Integrity, and Excellence.

Whether you're looking for a summer position or year-round work, we would be happy to speak with you about the role.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Receive and process incoming product.
  • Maintain knowledge of invoices from suppliers.
  • Pick, pack, and ship orders to the stores based on their needs.
  • Handle store requests and inquiries.
  • Organize and restock the warehouse to maintain inventory levels.
  • Perform light cleaning duties to keep the warehouse tidy.
  • Work together with a team to accomplish daily tasks.

On your application, we’ll be looking for the following qualifications:

  • Friendly, professional attitude.
  • Comfortable working alone and in teams.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs.
  • Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and performing reaching, bending, and crouching movements.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Previous experience working in a shipping/receiving department is an asset.
