Rocky Meadow Ranch is looking for a dependable, motivated Herdsman to join our purebred, commercial cattle operation and grain farm.
This is a hands-on position involving all aspects of day-to-day cattle care and farming, including:
- Feeding and checking cattle
- Calving and calf care
- Herd health, checking and administering treatments
- Breeding and reproductive work
- Cattle handling, sorting and processing
- Operating tractors, skid steers and other farm equipment
- Mechanically inclined, maintenance on farm equipment
- General farm maintenance
Previous cattle experience is required. We are looking for someone with good stockmanship, a strong work ethic, compassion for animals, and the ability to work independently while being part of a team.
This is a long-term, year-round position with competitive wages based on experience.
