Full job description

This position is a temporary and seasonal part-time role with a target end date of January 15, 2025, based on operational needs and requires use of one's personal vehicle to deliver packages primarily in residential areas. They will perform in a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position involving continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages

  • Job Type: Full-Time - Seasonal
  • Work Location: SAULT STE. MARIE
  • Workdays: Monday - Friday - weekends as needed
  • Shift Duration: 8 plus *(Flexibility is required with both the start and finish times)
  • Shift Schedule Start Time: Flexibility Required
  • Pay rate: $20.23/hr.
  • Mileage: 0.70 cents per km.

Responsibilities:

  • Retrieves, loads packages into personal vehicle, and delivers packages to customers.

Qualifications:

  • Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Excellent customer contact and service skills
  • Must be willing to use personal vehicle to transport and deliver packages.
  • Able to lift up to 70lbs
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced customer facing and outside environment
  • Must have a valid Ontario G driver’s license
  • Vehicle registered in candidate's name
  • Valid vehicle insurance
