Job description:

Role:

We are excited to welcome a new member to our Corporate Retail Division family — a Service Technician based at our retail store in Kamloops. As an integral part of our team, you will embark on a journey of growth and inspiration, consistently pushing boundaries to redefine excellence. Though your technical skills and exceptional customer service will be invaluable, it's your spirit of ownership, accountability, and collaboration that will truly make you shine.

Why You?

Because you see every interaction as an opportunity to make a difference. You are not just a service technician — you are a brand ambassador who thrives on forging meaningful connections and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You bring creativity to the forefront, helping us take our brand and retail stores to new heights.

The Role:

Your primary responsibility will be to represent Arctic Spas while servicing, delivering and installing customer’s new spas.

Your day-to-day tasks include:

  • Repair customer’s hot tubs at their location – can include changing pumps, filters, and heaters
  • Troubleshooting electrical problems
  • Tracing and repairing leaks
  • Learn all aspects of a Professional Spa Delivery, including what to look for on a Site Check.
  • Maintain stock and parts in all service vehicles and warehouse, including keeping these areas and vehicles clean.
  • Order parts and accessories as required or inform the person in charge of ordering product.
  • Maintain tools used in day-to-day service, including all hand tools, specialty tools, the spa dolly, etc.
  • Perform all service calls in a timely and organized fashion, taking what is required to fix the spa the first time, and avoiding unnecessary 2nd and 3rd trips to the customer’s house.
  • Record all parts used on a service call and return used parts to the service office for warranty.
  • Fill in all warranty paperwork at the end of each day, attaching tags to specific parts as required.
  • Learn and perform Pre-Delivery Inspections on all spas scheduled for delivery.
  • Learn and teach customers water chemistry and regular spa maintenance.
  • Learn and teach customers operation of the Top Side Control along with other spa features.
  • Receive and schedule service calls.
  • Update and maintain Service Logbook.
  • Be courteous and professional at all times.

What We Offer:

This full-time role provides a dynamic work-life balance, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement. Compensation includes a competitive base salary and bonuses. Enjoy health, dental, and life insurance after 90 days and the equivalent of two weeks vacation annually.

Some travel within the province may be required – there is also potential for travel or relocation to other Arctic Spas locations within North America.

A valid driver’s license and ability to be insured will be required. Confirmation of employment will be contingent on an acceptable driver's abstract provided by the candidate.
