Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department with enthusiasm and expertise. Duties

  • Lead and motivate the service department team to achieve operational goals and deliver outstanding customer experiences
  • Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling repairs, managing workflow, and ensuring timely completion of vehicle services
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing transparent communication, resolving concerns promptly, and upselling additional services when appropriate
  • Manage dealership repair orders, ensure accurate cash handling, and oversee parts inventory for efficiency
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue through upselling maintenance packages and additional automotive services
  • Monitor technician performance, provide coaching, and facilitate ongoing training to enhance technical skills and mechanical knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, dealership policies, and industry regulations at all times

Qualifications

  • Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes and mechanical systems
  • Prior mechanic experience is highly desirable to facilitate effective communication with technicians and understand technical issues
  • Demonstrated ability in customer service with excellent communication skills to build lasting client relationships
  • Strong sales acumen with experience in upselling services and handling cash transactions accurately
  • Knowledge of automotive parts, repairs, diagnostics, and industry best practices
  • Leadership skills to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
