Duties

• Provide friendly, professional service to guests, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly while maintaining high-quality service
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including tables, utensils, and serving stations
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed in accordance with health regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
• Demonstrate excellent guest services skills by addressing guest inquiries and resolving concerns professionally

Experience

• Proven food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving protocols and upselling techniques
• Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus but not mandatory
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism
