Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders at the counter with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Prepare and serve food items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, providing correct change and receipts
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience, particularly in restaurant or food industry settings, is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of food preparation, handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Experience in cashiering or cash handling is a plus
• Kitchen or restaurant experience that demonstrates adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $22.00 per hour
