Job Summary
At 6ixty Wings Brampton we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your culinary skills while contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Serve dishes promptly and accurately to guests or servers
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment usage
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the food industry trends and customer service principles is a plus
