Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Kitchen Assistant/Server, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming and efficient dining environment. In this role, you will support food preparation, serve guests with a positive attitude, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to memorable dining experiences for every guest. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the food service industry while working in a lively, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation by chopping, assembling, and organizing ingredients to support kitchen operations.
Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen stations, and food handling areas in compliance with food safety standards.
Support cooking tasks as directed by chefs or senior kitchen staff, including basic meal assembly and ingredient prep.
Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination.
Assist with restocking supplies, utensils, and condiments to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours.
Engage with guests positively, answer questions about menu items when appropriate, and promote a friendly dining atmosphere.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated beginners eager to learn.
Strong serving skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking processes.
Understanding of food handling safety practices and adherence to hygiene standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude toward guests and team members.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
