What you bring…
  • Certificate of a Personal Support Worker program that meets the requirements of the Fixing Long Term Care Homes Act and its regulations
  • Restorative Care Certificate
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification is an asset
  • Must be willing to accept verbal and/or written direction
  • Able to cope with the physical and emotional demands of the position
  • Geriatric, long-term care experience is beneficial
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills, able to read and write in the English language
  • Punctual and reliable

This position will consist of approximately 15 hours bi-weekly. The starting rate of pay is $29.19 per hour, and the terms and conditions are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
