Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Sales Manager to lead the development of the core business in Canada and to manage all bids relevant to this region. The core business includes geotechnical, structural and environmental automatic monitoring, structural health monitoring, digital asset management, environmental consulting, geophysical investigations, lidar mapping, INSAR monitoring, etc. The Sales Manager will join a dynamic and experienced Northern American Sales team, with a solid knowledge of the industry and of the solutions constituting SIXENSE’s portfolio.

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop and execute the company’s business development plan.
  • Identify new opportunities and cultivate relationships with clients, engineers, and contractors.
  • Collaborate with the Vancouver team to ensure cohesive national coverage and sharing of market intelligence.
  • Represent SIXENSE at industry events and promote innovative technical solutions.
  • Maintain a CRM database and monitor emerging market trends

Estimating & Proposals

  • Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals from opportunity to award.
  • Analyze RFPs, conduct site visits, and coordinate with operations and technical teams.
  • Ensure competitive pricing, quality submissions, and compliance with company standards.
  • Support project handover and client follow-up after contract award

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Structural, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline (GIS, Data Science, Monitoring, etc.).
  • Minimum 5 years of instrumentation and monitoring experience in engineering and construction within transportation infrastructure, tunnelling, heavy civil, mining or oil & gas, hydro sectors.
  • Proven experience in business development, client relationship management, and proposal/estimating for technical or engineering services.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methods, contract negotiation, and risk assessment.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical solutions and communicate them clearly to non-specialists.
  • Proficiency in business software (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and ideally basic CAD or data visualization tools).
  • Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A self-motivated, results-driven professional with strong teamwork, integrity, and resilience.

Salary Range: $110,000-160,000/annually+competitive compensation package
