Make an impact with our Digital Forensics & Litigation Support team as a Senior Consultant based out of our Calgary office. This diverse team of professionals combines accounting and investigative expertise to protect clients’ assets and reputation. As a trusted advisor, you’ll implement anti-fraud controls and resolve fraud emergencies, reducing clients’ exposure to criminal and civil wrongdoing. Responsibilities
- Propose, plan and deliver client engagements assisting fraud investigations, litigation support, risk assessments and other specialized proceedings or regulatory inquiries for a wide variety of clients, industries and disputes
- Recover, compile and analyze large volumes of electronic data from a wide range of digital media for gaps, trends, and vulnerabilities while ensuring evidential integrity of the data is maintained
- Collect, analyze, and explain digital evidence in complex investigations and disputes
- Conduct forensic imaging, artifact analysis, and create timeline reconstructions
- Create defensible reports for legal and regulatory matters
- Develop and implement complex data analytics systems
- Develop project plans and coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders
- Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals and other high-quality deliverables
- Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and relationships grow and develop
- Work on engagements involving large-scale fraud and regulatory matters involving significant financial and reputational risk
- Lead engagement teams, developing effective relationships with clients while coaching and mentoring junior team members
- Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals
- Collaborate closely with counsel, regulators, and investigators
- Maintain flexibility to travel and work outside of regular scheduled hours, as necessary
Skills and Experience
- Degree or diploma in computer science, information systems, business intelligence, cyber fraud, cyber investigation, or other related field
- 4 to 5 years of experience in areas such as information security, forensic investigations, litigation support, technological investigations and eDiscovery, system administration and infrastructure, EDRM, computer operation control weaknesses or change management
- Experience working with forensic tools (EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, Tableau, Magnet AXIOM, X-Ways, and FTK), eDiscovery tools (Relativity, Nuix, Clearwell, dtSearch), database administration and languages (MS-SQL, Oracle, T-SQL, PL-SQL), and/or operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS, Unix) is preferred
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance through the Government of Canada Contract Security Program
